Scouting Report:
Padres: Ross has been a staple in the rotation this season, with S.D. winning seven of his past nine starts. The veteran righty is 1-0 in two starts vs. S.F. this season, and will look to add on to his last start when he allowed three hits in six innings.

Giants: Bumgarner has made 31 appearances (including 30 starts) against the Padres, matching Arizona as the opponent he has faced the most. Bumgarner has 18 career wins in June, more than any other month except August (22).

Scouting Report:
Padres: Richard has worked at least six frames in his past eight starts and is undefeated (3-0) in June. His shortest start of the season, however, came vs. S.F. on May 2, when he went just four-plus frames and gave up seven runs (six earned) on eight hits.

Giants: San Francisco has won five of Stratton’s last six decisions. He secured his first 2018 victory against the Padres, limiting them to one hit in seven shutout innings April 12.

Padres: Lyles' last start resulted in the righty on the wrong end of a duel. In Atlanta, he tossed seven innings of one-run ball, with a homer accounting for the lone run. While winless in June, he has pitched at least six innings in 3 of his past 4 starts.

Giants: Suarez struck out seven over 6 1/3 innings in a no-decision against the Marlins on Monday. The lefty has a 3.41 ERA in five starts at AT&T Park compared with a 6.18 ERA in six road starts.

Giants: Rodriguez is 1-1 with a 6.28 ERA in his past three starts, but the right-hander earned a win on Tuesday against the Marlins, allowing three runs, no walks and striking out six in five innings.
